Laura graduated from the Virginia Western Community College-Lord Fairfax Community College joint venture dental hygiene program in 2014 with her Associate’s Degree. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene through Old Dominion University in 2016. Laura is an active member of her local chapter of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and has previously held the positions of President, Membership Chairperson, and Delegate for the House of Delegates for the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association. In 2015, her chapter voted her Northwest Component Member of the Year. Laura taught clinical dental hygiene at Lord Fairfax Community College from 2017-2018, and though she LOVED it, she is currently taking a break while she raises her two little ones.
In her spare time, Laura loves to spend time with her husband, two children, and other local extended family (whom she has a lot of!). On her days off, she sometimes volunteers at the Northern Shenandoah Valley Free Dental Clinic. She’s passionate about music, baking, her kids, and TEETH—of course!
